Ras Gharib Port (Port Code: EGRAG) is a port situated on the western shore of the Gulf of Suez, approx 200km south of Adabiya. The port of Ras Gharib is a tanker loading terminal with loading of crude oil at three CBM's, lying close southeast of Ras Gharib between 0.3 and 0.9nm offshore, of which No 3 South is for larger tankers. Southerly gales at times make the area untenable. It is a natural harbour providing anchorage in depths of 9 meters. Three piers constitutes the loading of crude oil. Approximately 24 vessels and 3,900,000t of cargo are handled annually.
