Port of Ras Shukheir (Port Code: EGRSR) is a port situated on the western shore of the Gulf of Suez. Ras Shukheir is an offshore oil loading terminal operated by GUPCO, comprising three sea berths loading crude oil and LPG. Vessels approach from the east and if required to anchor, do so in the designated anchorage area to the southeast of the berths. Submarine pipelines to the north prohibit anchoring elsewhere. The types of vessels regularly calling at the port are Offshore Supply Ship, Crude Oil Tanker, Supply Vessel, and Tug. Approximately 240 vessels are handled annually.
