Rio Bueno port (Port Code:JMRBU) was conceived in 2006 and began construction in March 2007. The first vessel berthed in August 2008 when the newly constructed Rio Bueno port received its first steel shipment. It is situated at the mouth of Rio Bueno, on the N coast of Jamaica. This landmark investment located in the quiet town of Rio Bueno in Trelawny, comprises a 50 foot wide, 650 foot long concrete wharf with 11 meters of draft. The warehouse is situated on over 30 acres of land adjacent to the port and is over 500,000 square feet of covered space. The Rio Bueno facility operates as Tank-Weld’s main logistics hub and facilitates the import and export of break bulk building materials for distribution to the hardware and construction sector.
