Riverhead Port (Port Code: USRIV) is a port located in an open roadstead approx 1.9km north of Jacobs Point and about 16km southwest of Horton Point Light in New York state. It is an offshore mooring facility. The facility consists of a 30.4m x 13.7m steel platform structure with breasting dolphins and mooring dolphins providing 2 berths; 1 berth on the northern side and 1 berth on the southern side. The platform deck is 7.4m above MLW. With an operating draft of 64 feet, the terminal's offshore platform routinely receives Suezmax vessels and is capable of handling VLCC tankers carrying crude, gasoline, diesel, and heavy fuel.
Approximately 3,700,000t of cargo handled are annually.
