Rosyth Port (Port Code: GBROS) is a port located on the northern bank of the Firth of Forth on the eastern coast of Scotland. Rosyth, a former Royal Navy Base, is owned by Babcock Facilities Management Ltd and is in part managed by Forth Ports PLC on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. It is used primarily as a berth for cruise liners and continental ferry services but commercial facilities are being developed. Commercial shipping must make special arrangements well in advance with the Port Manager. It is an important fabrication base for the energy sector. Cargoes handled in the port include forest products and chemicals. Approximately 200,000 tons of cargo are handled annually.
