Salawati Port (Port Code: IDSAL) is a port located off the western coast of Irian Barat, to the North of the Ceram Sea. Salawati is an oil terminal consisting of a dolphin berth from which a pipeline extends northeast to the shore and is a major crude oil loading port. Tankers berth on the southeastern side of the dolphin faces; a storage tanker, the "Wampun" is permanently moored on the northwestern faces. The port can load or unload 15,000 barrels per hour. The maximum length of the vessel the port can accommodate is 275 meters. The maximum draught is 13 meters. The maximum Deadweight is 100,000 t.
