Saltillo Port (port code: MXSLW) is a dry port in Coahuila estado (state), northeastern Mexico. It is situated in a wide valley at the northern edge of the great Mesa Central. It is directly connected with Port of Altamira via railways and roads.
The port handles wheat transported for the silver mines of Zacatecas and exports of Saltillo tile and the locally woven multi-colored sarapes. The General Motors vehicles for export to Japan, Canada, and Central America are also through here.
In the month of August 2018, the port handled around 802,600 US dollars or 258 shipments of imports. Major product imported included parts and accessories of the motor vehicles.
