The Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (Port Code: ESSCT) is a port situated on the eastern coast of Tenerife Island in the Canary Islands group. It is the second largest of the Canaries in terms of passengers, as 23% of passenger transport by sea of the islands is through this port. In 2018, it received one million cruise passengers. It also serves fishing boats, commercial ships, and sports and leisure ships. The principal exports are asphalt, refined oils and agricultural products. The port consists of four basins, from northeast to southwest. The principal imports are building materials, sugar, grain, cement, textiles, foodstuffs, petroleum products and crude oil.
