Shuaiba Port (Port Code: KWSAA) is a port lying on the central east coast of Kuwait. It is a multipurpose port, which handles containers, Ro-Ro, breakbulk and dry bulk cargoes, tankers and barges. The port is considered Kuwait’s main Industrial Port for handling commercial traffic. Shuaiba Port has 20 piers with a total length of 4,068 meters, encompassing commercial goods in heavy equipment, raw materials, chemicals and others. It serves vessels for loading exports and has imports of raw materials, equipment and machinery for Shuaiba industrial area. The port comprises 4 main areas, namely dry cargo berths, small craft harbour, barge harbour and oil pier. The oil pier is operated by the Kuwait National Petroleum Company specifically for oil and gas dockings.
