Sidi Kirir Terminal (Port Code:EGSKR / EGSKT) is the Mediteranean terminal of the Suez-Mediterranean (Sumed) pipeline and consists of 6 offshore SBM tanker berths and associated loading facilities, storage tanks, etc. It is located approximately 27 kilometers west of Alexandria. The SUMED pipeline is remotely controlled from Ain Sukhna, the Red Sea terminal. Approx 460 vessels and 60,000,000t of cargo handled annually. Largest vessel handled: Approx 400,000DWT. Large Buoys: Min water depth 25.9m Max acceptable draught 22.9m Mooring area radius 410m Manoeuvring area radius 1,220m; Small Buoys: Min water depth 18.2m Max acceptable draught 16.4m Mooring area radius 320m Manoeuvring area radius 915m.
