Sligo Port (Port Code: IESLI) is a coastal seaport situated mainly on the southeastern bank of River Garovogue which flows out of Lough Gill. Sligo is one of just two operating ports on Ireland's northwest coast between Galway and Derry, the other being Killybegs. The harbour can accommodate ships with a maximum draft of 5.2 metres (17 ft) and a maximum length of 100 metres (330 ft). The harbour is accessible through Sligo Bay to the south of Raughley Point. The principal exports are forestry products including logs. Imports include coal, timber, salt and fertilisers. Approximately 25 vessels visit the port and 32,000t of cargo is handled annually.
