Stranraer Port (Port Code: GBSRR) is a port situated at the southern end of Loch Ryan in southwest Scotland, 40 n.m. northeast of Belfast. It was formerly a ferry port, connecting Scotland with Belfast and Larne in Northern Ireland. Now ferry operations have been transferred to the nearby ports of Cairnryan and Loch Ryan. Stranraer Port handles fishing and leisure craft and can also accommodate small cargo vessels. It consists of dog-leg quay, a modern marina and a finger pontoon which is used by smaller fishing vessels, excursions and recreational craft.
