Surabaya Port (Port Code: IDSUB), or Tanjung Perak, is a port lying on the north shore of eastern Java Province, at the mouth of the Mas River in the Strait of Madura, 50 n.m. southeast of Tuban Marine Terminal and 60 n.m. south of Camar Marine Terminal. It is the second busiest sea port in Indonesia. Because of its strategic position and the existence of surrounding advantageous hinterlands, the port constitutes the center of inter-island shipping for Eastern Indonesia. It is also equipped with dock facilities that can serve cruises both from domestic and abroad.
