Tanjunguban port (port code:IDTAN) handles petroleum products and LPG operated by Pertamina throughout 24 hours. It is situated at Indonesia, Singapore Area on the W coast of Bintan Island at the N end of Selat Riau. The port is primarily an oil terminal for transhipping oil owned by PT Stanvac Indonesia and operated by Pertamina. It is frequently visited by large and small LPG carriers and products tankers. The port is classified as an agency branch of Tanjung Pinang and is open to international trade. Approx 1,300 vessels visit the port annually.
