The Dalles Port (port code: USDLS) is a small marina in Wasco County, Oregon, the United States. It is situated on the south bank of the Columbia River, about 78 nautical miles upriver (125 kilometers or 78 miles east) of the Port of Portland, and about 45 nautical miles downriver (76 kilometers or 47 miles west-southwest) of the Port of Arlington.
When the Dalles Dam was finished in 1960, the port became a stopping point for ocean-borne vessels from the Pacific Ocean carrying fruit, grain, lumber, wool, meat, and oil. The port offers facilities for handling dry bulk and LPG. The port’s wharf has berthing distance of 62.5 meters (205 feet) with alongside depth of 4.6 meters (15 feet). The grain elevator at the rear of Dales Grain Elevator Dock has total capacity for 200 bushels in three steel tanks and a timber crib house.
