Turbo Port (Port Code: COTRB) is a port located in the Gulf of Urabá – close to the Panamanian border on the West Atlantic side of Colombia. Operations are performed off shore where cargo is loaded and unloaded trough ships’ cranes and with the coordination of barges and tugboats. Large quantities of bananas and plantains, sweets, footwear and ceramics are exported; and raw materials such as resins, cotton, paper, inks and steel material are imported. In 2018, the port movement in Turbo was 73,328 TEU, ranking 66 on the list of port activity in Latin America and the Caribbean.
