Tuxpan Port (Port Code: MXTUX) is a medium-sized seaport situated on the Gulf coast of Mexico in the state of Vera Cruz, 58km from the city of Tajin. The port lies on the northern bank of the River Tuxpan approx 5nm from the entrance. It is a commercial port for container handling, agricultural bulk and cruise vessels. Approximately 1,300,000t of cargo and 573 vessels are handled annually. The maximum length of the vessels recorded to having entered this port is 225 meters. The maximum draught is 11.8 meters.
