Yakutsk Port (port code: RUYKS), also known as Yakutia Port, is a major port on the left bank of the Lena River in the Sakha Republic of Russia, one of three rivers that flow into the Arctic Ocean. It is located on a channel, just 450 kilometers (300 miles) south of the Arctic Circle and thus the coldest port in the world.
The principal exports leaving this port are minerals, such as diamond, coal and gold. The main imports entering this port include machines and mechanical appliances. The port also ushers in cruise vessels in summer.
